It started off with an appointment at the University of Stellenbosch as a research assistant, she was then appointed by Brightest Young Minds 2010 Summit coordinator. She worked as a volunteer at the Time Fortune CNN Global Forum in Cape Town and got to meet Desmond Tutu and saw Bill Clinton speak.
